For us new train modelers that may not know.... is a free Model Railroad Discussion Forum and photo gallery. We cover all scales and sizes of model railroads. Whether you're a master model railroader or just getting started, you'll find something of interest here.

I stumbled across this gold mine of good pictures that is GREAT for referencing particular cars without the hassle of looking for a good detail pic.

On this website you can look up cars by roadnumber, roadname, type, and it even has some info about that particular car. I have found it handy in the last few days as I am ALWAYS looking for a good example (usually fallen flag) of the dirtiest, most beat up, and real looking railroad cars this side of the tracks!! Anyways, I was pretty excited to find such a place and if you haven't yet checked this out, you may want to....especially you prototypical modelers that like to weather your own stuff!

Rich, I use them and the Locophotos/railcarphotos sister sites every time. If neither of them have it, its on to Google.
