2816 and the highness behind are both B23-7 box stock athearn. Yeah odd, the only two I haven't taken apart yet. Note I haven't even Patched it over to NS yet. 3229 is an old blue box Heavily detailed to 3229 prototype. Dcc it does have. no sound. This unit sat by the shop for. couple years. I didn't think I had installed dcc. I went Saturday to look if I even Put a nix trains board in it or hard wired it. I put in an order for a bunch of new V5 decoders. I found It had an older NCE DSj chip I put in. Totally forgot. Got better when I found I had programed it too. Totally forgot. Ready for its test run. sitting in my favorite spot to photograph by Maze Ethanol. SD40-2. Theprototype has probably been rebuild a new low nose cab by now.

I didn't get to test run it because I was test running my centipedes. Yeah not the right era. good for heritage train (see rule 1) I did find an odd issue with the one unit. It randomly momentary hesitation as it losses power. Which is a head scratcher. Its one 4 axle truck has a tracking issue. Wonder if they are related. I can't believe there is so few contact points on those Either a wire issue, or something else that it drops power a lot. and random. If I add a jumper between them, should help. I have to research this issue.
