Would be hard to disguise that horribly mangled Alco PB steam generator car.
As I recall many movies with trains were "filmed" in the 1990s using Denver Union as a staging area. Riding by/over the station tracks every day was always an adventure of what trains would be present. Likewise the nearby 20th street locomotive shops hosted many guests to power said trains.
It was the Pacific Rim RR in the movie. Mixed passenger & freight consist.
