Hello! My name is Ryan and I have been into model railroading since I was 12. I am now 27 and finally own my own house, so now comes the moment I've been waiting 15 years for... its time to build a layout that isnt on top of green felt! I am planning on building a "ceiling train" shelf layout that runs around the perimeter of my "man cave"/TV room. My favorite road is SP, but I am also fond of DRGW, UP, ATSF/BNSF, and UTA commuter rail (Front Runner is local and a beautiful train). I have a few questions about supplies, especially DCC, and which system to use (my goals are limited, but not as much as my budget). I look forward to getting to know everybody!
