Hey guys, looking to get Walther's Chain Link Fence kit but I'm not sure how far apart to space the posts. Anyone have some info they can share with me on this?
I would suggest keeping it easy and going with 1.25" spacing between posts. That comes to a scale 9'1" and according to this website that would be fairly average.
Chain Link Fence Installation Tips: Installing Posts and HardwareIn this video, Lowe's home improvement expert, Mike Kraft, demonstrates how to install fence posts and hardware for chain link fencing. To watch the previous videos in this series and to find the printable instructions for this video, visit http://www.Lowes.com/Videos The great thing about chain link fencing is that you can dig all the fence post holes at once. The manufacturer will recommend the spacing in between post holes, but it should never exceed 10
feet on-center.
A friend and I had a chain link business years ago and we set the posts at 8' for residential and 9' for industrial.
Good video Bob, funny he used a hacksaw instead of a pipe cutter tho.
