I caught a string of CSX cars in Mallory today on their way thru to Grand Coulee. Nestled in the middle was this Adobe & Petaluma caboose!
No word on where it's heading but I heard it came in from the East on the Anduin, Edoras & Rohan.
I hope it's not heading for Mandak metals and the torch!
Maybe that Adobe & Petaluma caboose should take a trip on the M & M Sub. Word of caution, though: All cabooses on the line are on one-way trips to you-know-where!

Any chance of the M&M sending up a transfer job?
MLW / CMStP&P Road#54058 boxcar was dead-lined for a burned bearing. The guys at Allied Rail Rebuilders got it into the shop and replaced the wheel set and replaced the bearings. Now it's being transferred back onto the mainline for the A&P to deliver it to it's next destination under the watchful eye of the shop foreman Stanley.
You know you could try to find a caboose that closely matches jimbo caboose. Chop it up load it in to a gondola and parade it around......That would bring jimbo out from hiding!
GLNE 90331 seen on an AER wayfreight, looks like the car shop got her straightened out after the damage. The waybill has it on its way to the Paper street soap company to drop its load of sulphates...I'll try to get a pic this weekend!

AP 160794 needed some work, all of her stirrup steps were gone. Here she is, resting in the Blockchoice shops with an EMD 567 prime mover, and a new genset.
Hey, my caboose may be old but she's still good for a few more miles. Keep her away from that scraper's torch.
I'm way behind. I'll get a picture of the GN boxcar tomorrow and get it on the interchange track out to California. It sounds like the baggage smashers have really been tearing things up. I guess I'm lucky. So far, everything has arrived here in one piece.
Well I got 2 deliveries in one....from P&N RR....came yet further south to JRs UPMRR...we accepted Great Northern Box car #200175 and Anduin Edoras & Rohan Railway covered hopper #3791. Both of which are being switched out by and EX SP UPY #1121 sw1500. (sorry no layout but enjoy this car exchange for now) Both of cars will be headed north to A&P.
hey guys where are we on the location of the cars? I have not received anything in some time...nor has my car come back to home rails.....sure would like my MLW car back if we are terminating this...
