Hey All,
Haven't had anything to show off all summer, But I stumbled onto this today.
An add on our local Craigslist said: 4x4 layout a couple of engines and a few cars. All for $50.00.
I think the add was so poorly written that noone bothered to look. It was posted Saturday.

Have any of you ever found some railroad treasures at garage sales?
I use to go to some that were close by hunting for tools and such. At one, I found an old RR pocket watch for $5.00. I didn't even haggle but the woman told me it didn't work. When I got home, I wound it and it worked beautifully and still does. I don't know much about them but have a brother that collects them and he told me it was worth at least $200.
I don't recall seeing model RR stuff at garage sales but back then, I really wasn't looking for it.

Perfect for practing painting and weathering skills on. Providing they are toy store grade models.
