I believe the "titles" are based on how long you've been a member and how many messages/topics you have posted.

Professor of HO
Somewhere along the line I gave myself the title "Professor of HO". Not sure how I did it, but it's there.
Now, if you gave yourself the title "*****L" or "*** ****** ****** **" or even "**** ********r" it would probably be deleted.

The default description changes as you make more posts and comments. A custom description doesn't change.

OK Folks - How to edit the title under the user name!

Click on your "user name" on the top row.

Now .. another row will appear under the "Dark Blue Banner".

Go to the 4th entry which says "Your account" - "click"

The 4th down says "Custom Title" - edit this.

You know -- I had entered my "custom Title" on the old forum software.
I wonder if the reason we cannot do it now is because of the change to the new version?
What do you want, Mike?
Terry & I one will change it, maybe?
