I have a Dynamis that I "stole" on ebay and have been using it for 72hrs. and it works fine with all of my Non sound Bachman Locos. However I have 2 Atlas Gold Master locos and at first they seemed to work just fine but there seems to be a "lag" or capatibility issue with the Atlas Locos. They run o.k. but certain function buttons either don't work entirely or work after a 15-20 second delay. Please go easy on me I'm a total Newb. Any suggestions or comments are entirely welcome.
Sounds like they are not getting enough juice from your DCC command station. I never heard of a Dynamis. But I would reccomend you get a quality DCC system such as an NCE Powercab or Digitrax Zepher. You will have less headaches and have more fun.
You are not familiar with the Bachmann Dynamis system made by ESU for Bachmann??

Oh wow, that actually looks pretty cool with the display like that. I think Digitrax and NCE need to update their displays to look like that.
Anyways, it looks like it has plenty of power 2.5 amps. So it may be your track feeders. Do you have a power feeder bus to the track placed about every 10 ft. or so? Do you solder your track connections? If not, I would suggest you do that, and solder power feeders about every 10 ft. The bus will then connect to the command station.
