I built this car 10 years ago and decided it need a upgrade. First I added Archer weld lines, then the large Dupont logo, aci tags, early cots and several other decal changes. There were 70 of these cars built in 1969 by ACF for Ethylene Glycol service. They lasted until 2008-2009 then were cut up. They hauled 43,800 gals and weighed 526,000 lbs loaded.

Thanks for looking, Bobby

So they are a decal transfer, what size (width) did you use?

The part number is, 17. The width is .015. The long number is AR88017. These are the smallest they make. You're supposed to put them on and paint over them. I didn't want to strip it down, I hate the smell of paint, so I put them on and applied a coat of Floquil Crystal Cote. Five coats of Dull Cote from a rattle can took care of the rest.

Thanks, Bobby
