I just watched this video and have never seen the apparent diesel fuel car the modeler has made. Did UP ever/use anything like this?

That tanker looks similar at least to the ones pulled behind the UP turbine locomotives.

Notice the difference between the diesel tanks and the natural gas tanks, it looks like he's got an ng tender.

Didn't Bnsf do this to take advantage of lower diesel prices in different regions?
