Ok a long time ago i heard from a friend you can send any fried or damaged decoders to a company and that company will send you a compatible version of there decoder for a reduced price when u send in that damaged decoder. if this is true can anyone tell me what sight it is.

What brand decoder are we talking? Digitrax used to replace any decoder for $17, not sure what they're currently doing. I'd give the manufacturer a ring. I'm sure whoever made it will take care of you.

Digitrax Made it ill try calling them. I might go with tcs next time they give a 1 year warranty even if it was your fault.
