Hey guys
here is my latest project- an F59phi locomotive with OPERATING windshield wipers!
i've spent lots of hours of work to design, lots of ideas 'how to make it works', drawings, but that worth it...
please watch the short video at my forum at
http://forum.trainhaus.com/viewtopic.php?t=77
i will post more and better videos soon

SHOW ME HOW TO DO THAT WITH MY KATO SOUND EQIPPED DCC AC4400CW!!!!!!!! Thats awesome.
I'd like to see it, do you have it in a different format? I keep getting an error message when my media player tries to run the video...

in the next few days i will post some more videos the you can the system form the inside, the might give you some ideas how to do it
anyway, im not fremilier with the AC4400, that because im model the year of 1995 but i might build wipers system into the DASH9's
AC44's were around when the SP was and isnt the F59PHI younger than that????
Can you redo the video as a .WMV?
Now for your next project, do what John Armstrong did.

Have a figure for the engineer hanging out of the cab looking forward, when the loco changes direction, have him turn his head to look back!
Either that or equip a crewman with a flashlight!

No flashlight jokes!
Yeah, I would like to see it also, but can't open the file.

Ahem.
Cool wipers! I bet that was a tedious job.
WOW!!
that's incredible. Would you be able to show how you did it?
sure!
i post another video that shows the inside of the locomotive so you can see the whole system
Thats awsome, can't wait to see more!
thats verry cool
the only thing i would worry about if you run them a long time like at a train show or something that over time you will put groves in the window from plastic rubbing on plastic.
but i relly do like it and it just adds another thing that we are all going to have to have to make our model world come to life
