I have a problem w/an Athearn Genesis SD75M. When I pick up the back of the engine off the rails the trucks stop turning. It shouldn't stop. All of my other ATH. Genesis work fine. All of the wires are connected to the Board & to the trucks. I only run DC. I bought this engine from a Forum member. It had a few missing parts, so, I figured it must have been taken apart for some reason, maybe to hook up a DCC module. Anyway, I usually can fix almost anything, but this one has me baffled. HELP NEEDED Please.

I don't believe you!
Surely, there's got to be a break in one of the wires between the front truck and the board.... If the break was between the board & the motor it wouldn't move at all.
You aren't looking for the fault at the rear are you?!..... The rear works, it's the front that's broken! [Just a WAG btw

Cheers,

Ian,
I did something right & now it's working. I did remove the wires to the board on the front truck & clean the ends of the wires & reassembled everything. Whatever I did fixed the problem, for now anyway.
Thanks for your quick reply.
