Hello,

this week went a little something.
I've built a Conversioncar from MTL to Rapido.

The reason was that both of my new SD70 McHenry couplers have
this work together with the MTL, even very good after a test on Sunday.

And by the way still drawn to etching fan of all sizes,
until now 60 ", 53" and 48 ", plus lift rings of various designs.

Yep, seems like I had a couple conversion cars in my fleet while I made the switch from horn-hook to Kadee on my HO layout. Once you start working with knuckle couplers you'll convert the rest of your layout pretty quickly ;)

We keep a couple like that in HO and N scales on the club layout, very handy to have.

I have a few for my HO layout as well. A lot of my stuff was from the early 60's, and I still like to run it, but haven't converted it all to KaDee's yet, and may not convert some of it.

The Kid has a couple on his N scale layout as well, as he converts his equipment from Rapido's to Micro Train couplers.
