I am building a replica of the Polar Express, and I am looking for input as to what colors to paint the cars. From pictures i have seen they are a
greenish blue with a red section the width of the windows, with the roofs black I have the cars, locomotive and am having the decals custom made.
Any suggestions? This is being done in N scale as no one yet produces it.

That sounds about right to me but that's really based on the Lionel colors. I don't recall having seen the Polar Express cars in enough light in the movie or in the the book to really tell you what color they were so I guess what's shown by the Lionel cars must be close enough.
I suggest you contact the Animators of the film themsleves and ask them what colors they used . Sometimes they will send you a picture with the colors shown !!
Thanks I did not think about contacting the animators, I'll try that and see what response I get.
Hey, if you do a good job with the replica, maybe you could sell the idea to one of the model companies, and make some quick cash!
