Hello I would like to know in Cold temps harm locomotives?
I have several Kato HO scale locos at my railroad club, and due to fuel oil prices we are not going to heat our building much this winter. If it harms them I will take them home and only bring them down to run.

I keep several locomotives at the club on the layout and several stored in my locker..Our heat is on a timer and turns on the heat 3 hours before our twice a week meeting hours..After several Ohio winters done of the equipment seems to be any worst for the lack of heat 5 out of 7 days.
