Need advice on what type of Coal Cars to use when modeling the late 1940's through the mid 1950's. Any recommendations regarding type, manufacturer, etc... is appreciated. Scale is HO.

IMHO 55 to 70T 40 ft cars should fit the bill nicely,Athearn,Accurail ,Bowser are a few that comes to mind.
