I did a bit of horse trading about a year ago and got two of these Proto2000 GP9/18's. I sold one off and kept the other for a bit of modification.

I replaced the high roof fans with some details west parts, added the spark arrestors and high hood bell (minitures by eric parts)

I weathered the engine with a light spray of poly-s grimey black on the trucks and lower body, then switched to poly-s dirt to give the trucks, pilots and walkways a bit of color. I finished it off with poly-s steam power black on the roof to simulate diesel soot

Looks good. Can you share another photo of the front of it?
 


Thanks, other than my SW1200 and SD-7 these are my only hood units. I've seemed to have gotten stuck on Cab units instead. I'm currently working on a F-7 and and B unit set.
