I finally started to finish my Express reefer that I started 5 years ago while I was in the Hospital waiting for back surgery. I remember I finished the kit up to the fine details but didn't want to go any further since the small parts could get lost if they were broken off. Anyway in the past week I added the rest of the parts and last night I painted it.
Before paint:

I painted it with a mix of 75% Floquil depot olive and 25% Scalecoat CN green #11.

The car is supposed to be painted with the CN green but that green represents a color that is fresh out of the paint shop. I was talking with a fellow who worked with the paint shop and he told me that the dark green faded within weeks of leaving and resulted in a lighter shade. While I was at it I sprayed an SD-7 in the same color. (I know CN never had them but they do on my layout!)
Anyway I need to know how long do I have to wait before the paint cures? It was still gassing out this morning (12 hours later I could still smell it) Should I wait a week or two before decaling? I have a set of 4 passenger cars that I'm planning to paint to match tomorrow if all goes well.
