Here's the beginings of another "super detailing" thread from me. I got pics of CN #5404, and SD50F and I'm working on cleaning up and assembling the Kaslo shell right now (well not at the exact moment, but you know what I mean). Here's some pics:
That kit looks pretty neat. I might have to get one of those someday.
Is it plastic or resin? It looks like plastic but you never know.
Keep us posted.
Workin' hard all the way!
Looks like you are going to have some fun with that kit. When I ventured into my local hobby shop a month ago, I noticed a kit by Kaslo for CP's unique 9000 series Red Barns. I was tempted to shell out the $100.00, but resisted.

At the same hobby store, I had a look at the CN model shown above and it looks to be resin.

Yes, all Kaslo is Resin. I have a hold placed on one of the SD40-2F's (CP's red barns). I just have to pay for it now! I have the chassis for this unit, but I think I'm going to go with the RPP/PPW SD60/SD60M chassis. I had heard nothing but good reviews of the Kaslo stuff, and its well worth the cost!
Thanks for the great pics. Can't wait to see progress
