photo gallery. We cover all scales and sizes of model railroads. Online since 2002, it's one of the oldest and largest model railroad forums on the web. Whether you're a master model railroader or just getting started, you'll find something of interest here.
Anyone have any ideas, I've never seen the brand or model before? Probably going up for sale but have no idea on value. Any help is appreciated

Thanks I did find a little info , brasstrains.com had a few up but no traction pieces
Looks like its a Katsumi , It appears to be pretty old , only one drive axle ? Brasstrains.com sole a similar one (same model) imported by Ken Kidder in '63
https://brasstrains.com/Classic/Pro...2053-American-Car-Company-Double-Truck-Birney , it sold for $150, Same drive train , its almost identical , little bit better condition maybe.
If it were me and I weren't going to keep it , I would ebay it with a starting bid of $75 -100 and see if anybody bites .

I have several little books on Brass offerings in the 60s & 70s, I will make an attempt to did them out tomorrow and see if I can find any info for you.
What a Beautiful find!
Sorry for the delay in getting back - The books I was looking for have been packed in storage since 2010.
Sadly I did not find any info on your item as the Brass Locomotive Checklist I have is from 1949-1969 and it does not list Pacific Pike company at all. Perhaps manufactured sometime in 1970?
And I even looked in a 1967 Walthers catalog hoping to find a reference to that company. Trivia on that catalog - It is less than 1/4" thick.
