Well i painted my kaslo cab and i used the SIG paint cn red orange #11 it came out to be dead on but a few problems glossy really glossy i know i have to use dulcote for that but when i went to paint the roof of the cab and the part of the nose of the dash 9 4 window cab i taped it did everything i wassupposed to do it got all messed up but i fixed the black that leaked threw the tape. thinking is when their was a few chips of paint i had to touch it up and couldnt use anything else but the SIG paint witch is way to tick and stuff but ussaly when the paint is thick you can use a tooth pick for small detailing touch ups and stuff and it does work but with this paint it didnt =S =( any noe of a good paint to use that is right on or close to i heard scale coat sp daylight red and theirs on more but i forget lol ill have to ask my friend but if any one can help id really appricate it my kaslo cab is being striped right now so it can have a fresh new coat of paint

how to stripe the sig paint.

what is a better paint to use other than the sig paint

sclae coat spdaylight red works but on older cn locos my friend told me another one and i can not remeber witch one it is are they any more paints that i can use ?

Well stripping the paint can be accomplished may ways.

-Pine-sol
-91% Isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol
-Polly Scale EZ lift off

Though it works, I'd avoid it on the resin...
-Brake Fluid

Try a search on the forum for "Stripping" you'll find more info then you'd think.

Probably Polly S is the other paint your friend told you about. Check Walthers, they have the colors you need. It really helps if you use capitals and reasonably correct punctuation in your posts. Reading one long run-on sentence makes it hard to understand your question. You might also get a copy of IESpell at http://www.iespell.com/. It's free and adds spell checking to your post. I'm a terrible speller and would be lost without it.

no no im just so fustruated with everything right now :S sorry about the spelling and the punctuation in my first post everybuddy
