Is their a way to wire a battery powered pin ie thoses small blinking pins you get at events like 4th of july they have thoses small round batteries in them. Anyway can you somehow wire them so they ran off dc power and use them as signs on buildings. They are dirt cheap and would help to liven up my spread at a low cost in addition to regular animated signs i have?

Sure, if you use resistors to drop the voltage.
I see those at the local Chevron station and keep toying with the idea of using the blue ones to make lit up blue signals at night in my yard and roundhouse area.
