Not to hijack your thread, but here is my HO version built back in August 2021.

While they can't be seen in the above picture, there are figures inside.

Actually, this is my second Blair Line General Store. This is the first one I did:

And so it begins - I thought a nice "Dark Green" with "White Trim" might look nice ......

Getting the basic walls in place:

And the first problem realised ... the side walls are about 1/16th to 1/32nd to short to mate up with the front and rear walls properly. I don't recall that being an issue with the last one I built.

After "clamping" the side walls to the front and rear walls, I think I managed to "close the gap" sufficiently:

That happened on my HO scale model also. As you can see from my interior photo, I had added some black painted masking tape along the top edge on the inside to prevent light leakage. On the outside, the eaves cover the gap up. Although at this point, I haven't added the light bulb yet.

I think I fixed the "gaps" with the wood glue I use - Deluxe Laser Cut Glue.

Got the door and window in place, all I need to do is put in the glass which I'll do last of all

Got the roof sections on AFTER having to remove the tabs for the holes as they did not line up and were too small to accommodate the tabs properly:

Not sure what I will do the roof in. I am tossing up between Corrugated Iron (Grey) or Grey Shingles... never liked the roofing material that comes with these kits.

Okay, I am an idiot - I just realised that I have glued the roof in place BUT, haven't put the front door or windows in!!! This ought to be fun then ..............

You may have also noticed that the "white trim" has been substituted for "Light Sand' instead ....

Even though some of the door and window "framing" were broken I got them ALL in ..... piece of cake !

Re: Microscale "Kristal Klear". Many use Elmer's Glue All with the same results and it's cheaper and useful for other stuff.

I haven't considered using Elmer's white glue - it never crossed my mind. There is another "Glazing" product (can't recall it's name) that I get from Hobby Lobby whenever I am near one, that is also cheap and works well.
