We have had two unrelated train accidents here in the Finger Lakes of NY in the last two days. One involved the Finger Lakes Railroad and is the first fatality they have had since they became a company in 1995. The other involved the CSX and is one of those type of things that could have been easily prevented by following basic safty precautions. Here is a link to the article in tonight's paper:
