Currently sitting in the waiting area awaiting the birth of a grandson. It’s the hurry up and wait game. But you all know that Grandpa is going to be instilling trains…one way or another into his life. Maybe then we can have another generation to keep the hobby going. Will update when I can.
Congratulations!! That has to be very excitin.

Mmmmm...8-9 pounds...20" long...
...sounds like a new "G" scale addition to me. "Grandpa" scale.
In any case, congratulations.

Wanted to pass along that my grandson and daughter in law were discharged from the hospital. They’re home…currently living with us until they find their own place. My son is ecstatic when his son lays on his chest. Brings back lots of memories of when he came home. Thank you for everyone who sent prayers and good wishes.
Congratulations! It is really great being a Grandparent. There is a whole lot of life lessons headed your way. Enjoy them, as much as you can. Glenn
Congratulations!
Made one of these for my grandson. He stands on the platform and I tuck him into the layout. The sides and back keep him inside.
Bottom secured with broom handle clips. Nice thing it folds up for storage. At times I've used it for a shelf while working under the layout.
