Auto-Reverse loop circuit (like AR1?)

This level of electronics is way over my head, but I admire you technical knowledge.

I have two reverse loops and am running DCC Specialties PSX-1s. They needed some adjusting as at times the locos would stumble as the auto reverser did its magic. But once I dialed up the sensitivity the locos run through the loops flawlessly.

I also like to buy commercial product for this task and its my first choice. but the problem is availability and its cost and time it takes for it to reach my country. that's why sometimes diy aspect helps to those leaving in those corner of the world.
