Does anyone know off the top of their head which Atlas crossing is a drop in fit when you butt up two Customline #6s end to end so the the diverging tracks cross each other? 20 degree? 25 degree? 30 degree? Something else? My Hobbytown doesn't have a huge selection, so I can't just go dry-fit them to find out before I order or buy.

According to the RTS program it would be AT 171 19 degree crossing, might want a second opinion on that.

A drop in cross over is a 19 degree crossing, according to my atlas plan book, they have four number six switches hooked together with a 19 degree crossing and a piece of two inch track on the out side In the order of the picture, from left to right top, Number six switch right, two inch track filler, number six left, middle of the cross over is the 19 degree crossing and then on the bottom from left to right, number six left, two inch filler track, number six right.
 
Thanks you both for your speedy replies. This info was just what I needed. The 19 degree crossing is now installed and working perfectly.
 
Are you trying to build a specific Atlas trackplan? Sometimes, depending on the plan, things need to be fudged a bit, inspite of what's on the drawing, I've found. I have yet to be successful in terms of building the wye on the Central Midland, using #6's, and curves larger than some of the 18" radius sections they show on the plan.
 
No, Otis, I have a much larger layout than any of the Atlas plans. I have a location where a major track is passing by a loop yard, and entrances needed to be made into the yard from both directions. Back to back opposing number sixes wouldn't fit, so I needed them to face each other and have the feeds cross one another. The unit has been built and functions beautifully.
