OK I worked at a freight company once and I know what wood floors look like. How about some wire brushing and gouging. Tear that sucka up.
 
This is a "new" floor to go along with the 3 new roof panels ;) The next car has a torn up floor and no new roof panels. Photos are in progress now lol
 
Awsome job, especially like the roof panels!
So... how do you run the two rail trucks on three rail track??
 
If you use Atlas, MTH Scale Trax, or Gargraves track, they all have a square rail head, similar to the real thing, also very similar to the 2 rail track. Ross switches can cause some issues at times, but some fine tuning and the key is some extra weight in the cars to keep them tracking properly. 2 rail trucks will not run Lionel Tubular track, the track has to have a square head.
