I bought a couple of these flatcars about a month ago. I put several hundred scale miles on em, now it's time to load em.
The payload is 85 foot long pipes. I made the pipes from 1/2" Evergreen plastic tubes and Tamiya 1mm masking tape to tie em down. I'm using 6"x6" beams for the supports between layers of pipes.
The first layer is about all ties down. The second and third layer of pipes just got a touch up of flat black paint.
