Can anybody help me with or how many different sw1500 athearn has made as far as the chassis and drive differences and any parts list. Is the chassis from an older version able to fit the newer version and vice versa.
 
Gary, there is the blue box SW1500 and the RTR SW1500. The BB body is held to the frame by 4 notches on the side of the frame. The RTR body is held by screws through the coupler pockets. So no, an older body will not work on the newer frame and a newer body will not work on an older frame. Here's the 2 frames side by side.

Thanks Jerome for the info that helps alot. Can anybody scan the parts list for these and post as am needing some parts and do not have list to get numbers from, Thanks
