I have an question. What are the 2 filler hatches on an SW100/SW1500 behind the cab for?? The front end has a radiator hatch on each side, The fuel tanks have filler hatches that go on each side of the fuel tank, so what would the 2 hatches behind the cab be for??
Rear Sand Hatches I think. The front end also has a sand hatch on each side.
Fred, Thank you, that makes sense now that I look at them closer. And here I was thinking the front 2 were for the radiators!!! OPPS!!
Fred's correct although not all SW 1000/1500's had all four sand hatches. There were some roads that only had the two front sand hatches. Another reason to get prototype pictures if you want to match a particular model.
