Hi All, been away for abit and just getting back into it.
Well the latest project had me installing a Digitrax DH163A0 into my Athearn 70MAC. I got it all nicely tucked away when I realized that the original Athearn board was already set for a decoder add on, D'oh!! Talk about jumping into something without thinking,
I even looked at the harness attatched to the top first! Looks as tho all you have to do is pull out a dummy plug and install an 8 pin decoder, then relocate the ditch light wires.
Has anyone done here this, and if so how did you wire the ditchlights?
I'd love to add sound too, but will most likely just add that to an unpowered unit to run in different consists.
Any advise apreciated....
