Are these 2 compatible? I have an older athearn GP9 and was looking at swapping a GP 38 shell(which I don't have) on the frame of the GP9.
Any ideas?
 
You'd also have a problem with hood width. The standard Athearn BB motor on the original GP-9's is too large to fit inside the prototype width hood of a GP-38. The GP-9 body had a non-scale width hood to handle this problem.
