Are Peco ties brown?

Are the ties on Peco turnouts brown or black?

Mine are black but one has a brown hue to it.

im surprised, i alway thought peco only did them in brown.
what does the rail nail look on yours ? mine have a rectangular shoes with 2 nail on each side

AFAIK code 83 is always brow, code 100 always black. this is consistent with at least atlas , peco and ME it seems (have several pieces in C83...), not sure about the rest.

All my Peco turnouts (C100) are black. I don't use their flex track, so can't offer an opinion....

My four year-old Peco Code 83 turnout ties are black. I don't imagine they'd goof and have turnouts with black ties while selling Code 83 flex with brown ties, unless they sell both?

That special, mine are code 100, medium radius and are brown, brown but a really dark one, but not black. I will try to post a picture if i can
