I put out the invite for 30 Dec for the club to bring their new Christmas toys and conduct an op session on that Saturday.
A good number have rogered up for it.
This will be a steam motive power op session so I had to clear all the intermodal off the layout. That filled a few tubs for the rolling stock, vans and containers.
The yard signal system is partially installed for the arrival departure tracks. Signals will be at each end of the yard heading out to the mainline. I'll have local control of them also for releasing trains on their routes.
The steam is about half smokers, mostly sound and eight drivers or more. Santa Fees, J9000s, Challengers and a Big Boy. Wheels are all cleaned and they've all been run around the layout for breakin. Some have been sitting on the shelf for over a year.
They're all coaled and watered.
