I have to go to a conference in a couple weeks and I thought I might check out the train. Amtrak will get me within 50 miles and the the New Jersey Transit will get me with 7 minutes.
It'll be my first trip by train, other than a 2-6-2 mile ride last summer and a 30 mile train ride when I was 5.
So, will I be modeling Amtrak or am I sticking to my GP-38 and doing switching and local way freight?
