This is a Great West Models kit that I have built named Allied Chemicals. One of the things I would like to do is to paint it in two tones, with one about 1" down from the top of the roof, and parallel to the foundation.
The thing I've been trying to figure out, is how to mask it. Notice that the walls are flat, with raised "I"s that emulate the concrete form type of wall.

Have u ever tried Pactra tape? It comes in 4 widths and is flexable and seals great but leaves no residue. Most hobbyshops sell it and if not, I bet you can find it online. Its original purpose is for masking lexan bodies for RC cars but its the only thing I use now to do my detailed masking. Once the the hard part is done i cover the rest in standard masking tape and hit with and airbrush.
