AE Decoders 21 pin direct (8 pin harness)

I've come across these decoders, 21 pin and 8 pin harness, it's actually a DCC concepts decoder, anyone come across them ?

I haven't messed with them, though the one you have pictured is a three-connector decoder. It is 21 pin, 8 pin,, and 9 pin.

I've read the blurb on it, it's a neat idea having one decoder but three different ways of plugging them in, but I was wondering if anyone knows if they are worth using

Interesting review, and not a good one either, but I don't have ABC braking nor do I use JMRI, which is what he's concentrating on, so it'll be interesting to find out what it will do, if not even the basics, back it will go, thanks @bnsf971
