Fred's Loco Shop Foreman
I'm using a 9 pin Digitrax decoder to add dual strobes to an Athearn SW-1000. I hook up on lead to the green or purple wire... but where does the other lead go? I assuming it's to blue, but I'm not 100% sure...

One goes to the green wire, one to the purple wire, and both common leads to the blue wire Set up the fx per the manual.
