accumate couplers

I've a bunch of older locos that need to go to either Kadee, or the accumate couplers now coming out on new locos. Does anyone know if a guy can buy these new accumate couplers to install on other locos? Kadees are great, but maybe these accumates are cheaper? I looked at Atlas and can't find any couplers by themselves.

The couplers were available,I would suggest contacting ATLAS customer service or the parts department to see if they still have them.

This is N scale, from another SF fan. This is the N scale site right? ha ha I have a collection of locos from clear back to the 70's, like some 70 locos, and am trying to get them and my rolling stock all to something other than rapido couples. This leaves either Kadee, or accumate in N scale, so am checking prices and availability. Half my rolling stock is now Kadee equipped, and half my more recent locl's are Kadee also. The cost make it go slow however.

Thanks, Brian

To my knowledge, Kadee does not make couplers in N gauge. No one has mentioned Micro Trains couplers, which is a spin off from Kadee, and seems to be the gold standard for N scale. They are, however, siginificantly more expensive than the Accumate or McHenry couplers. Since I'm not in N scale, I can't comment on which one has the best performance but Micro-Trains couplers certainly desreve to be considered.

By Kadee, I did mean Micro Trains, it is what is was once called, thanks, and I did not know that McHenry made n scale couplers.

I did ask Atlas and I got the site that CSX Robert mentioned, so have ordered some coupler sets to try out, Thanks guys, and thanks Robert for your help.
