Why not have a look at Atlas's Branchline series? They bought out Branchline not long ago and are now starting to offer the Branchline coaches as RTR models.

I see Southern coaches in 10-1-2, 6-3, and 12-1 sleepers and that's it. I have seen Southern chair cars somewhere, maybe check Atlas's future release schedule.

Those Atlas nee Branchline cars look to be 80'+ cars. Think Athearn still makes 72' cars: http://www.athearn.com/Products/HO/
If not they still show up on eBay.

Con Cor show 65' heavyweight cars, but I don't see any in Southern or undecorated. Athearn is completely sold out of their own brand 72' heavyweight cars, but show some branchline arch roof shorter cars in their Roundhouse line, including undec. Kinda sad, as I liked those older Athearn cars.

I just got through searching the Athearn site for 72' passenger cars. They listed 72' streamliners painted in Southern, and the Old Roundhouse 80' Pullman Palace cars in SRR, as well as the 34' Overton cars in SRR. Unfortunately none of these are correct. If you don't care they would work.

Yes, your right. The Branchline cars are a bit longer than 72'. Very nice models though.
