Looking at some old B&O stuff and saw there was a geared 4-2-2-2-2-4 locomotive that was designed but never built. I wondered if anyone had a picture of what this would have looked like. Seems like a pretty oddball plan.
 
was a multiplex loco. I guess Pennsy had a couple of designs for 'em, they were more powerful and more reliable than larger, single piston locomotives.
