Rising from the ashes...

New to this forum, but not to model railroading. I recognized a few names on this forum so I figured why not jump in the pool and take a few laps? The ''other" forum I was on seems to have crashed and burned so I gave up on trying to use it any longer. I had started a decent layout back in the day, but that ended in 2010 along with a marriage. Fast forward to now, I've purchased some acreage and have started construction on my shop/train room building that is 50x50 feet in size. Hopefully, I'll be breaking ground on the new layout shortly and be able to share some photos.

Woodworking Shops generate a LOT of sawdust. Aren't you worried about keeping this out of the layout spaces??
Beiland, the shop and layout area will not have any wall penetrations between them. All of my equipment will be connected to a dust collection system as well as having overhead air scrubbers to keep dust to a minimum.
