Anybody have figures attached to rolling stock?

No but I have a figure doing some Piggyback work in O scale. I hand painted him years ago

I have these guys on a transfer caboose. The guy in the back was holding a shovel. I cut it off leaving a little sticking above his hand, a small amount of white paint and it looks like a coffee in his hand. The other guy has a radio. I use this for high and wide loads.

Once upon a time, I had a Volmer construction figure with his hands raised. I painted him in more suitable attire, and glued his hands horizontally to the rear handrails of a caboose. This made it look like he was hanging on to the handrail for dear life. I ran that caboose at several open houses, until another club member rear-ended the train--and, of course, the hanging conductor.

Wouldn't mind seeing train crews in action.
I once sent a caboose with 4 characters on a club's layout.
Glued them on the deck had them on the back of a fast moving freight.
Two times around the layout. :)
A guy at the club has a caboose with a little person on the back, when I go tonight I’ll snap a picture for you
