    What's happening on your layout?

    starting my last layout... This module uses all manual turnout control. It will be the center section with the DCC command station in front(left) Those are #8 turnouts for a crossover, others are #6.

    Decoder for a SP/SSW SW1500 locomotive

    I used N scale decoders, laying inside over the gearbox. But N scale did not have extra functions (beyond front and rear headlight). Maybe a DH187 will fit, it has more functions and wires...

    I have read where some bristles from a paint brush standing up between the rails works. Make it look like weeds...

    Current and lights and things OH MY!!

    This is where those old DC power packs come in handy. Hook up a street lamp, slowly raise voltage till you like the illumination. Measure the applied voltage.

    Can an HO scale 2-8-0 negotiate a 15" radius curve?

    Bachmann 2-8-0 handle 18" with ease. Want me to set up a test circle of 15"
