Erie Steel Corp.'s GE 44-tonner #12 is 50 years old and hundreds of miles from her original home, where she served the B&O shuffling cars in Baltimore's then-busy Inner Harbor. Now she is ending her days in a Cleveland steel mill, wearing the colors of her new owner - still doing what she has always done best.
