Urban branch line serving 10 industries in a 3 block area. Cars arrive via transfer runs and since the branch is within yard limits no caboose is needed. Customers include Jersey Cold Storage, NY Folding Box, Jersey City Bakeries, Lawes Coal Co. and a PRR freight station with a team track and LCL house. Time period is 1965-1969, railroad is PRR.
Very nice modeling, love the weathered brick buildings. As an aside the usual crew for a yard job was a foreman and two switchmen while the local crews on the road had a conductor and two brakemen. Even the FEC didn't break that union contract till the mid 70's IIRC.
