When I originally designed the layout I was planning on just a normal ladder yard with the mainline going down the middle.
The more I got into the SP's operations there, the more I realized I wanted to do something else more in keeping with the SP's operations in Oakridge at its peak but in a modern day... at least 1996 anyway.
The red lines represent trackage under CTC control. All others are either train-order or local switching control.
Although it was in the original plan, it just wasn't practical to include the wye. A 1:1 Humanicrane will have to step in now and then.
